                                            Welcome to Physical Education

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to have your children in our Physical Education program. Our goal is to create a safe, positive, and active environment where students can develop lifelong fitness habits, practice teamwork, and have fun while building new skills.

To help us ensure the safety and success of all students, please review the following important guidelines:

  • Proper Footwear: For safety reasons, students must wear sneakers in order to participate in all physical education activities. Shoes such as sandals, crocs, boots, or dress shoes are not permitted. An alternate class assignment will be given to students not wearing sneakers. Just a reminder if students do not participate, it may negatively impact their grade. Attached is the PE schedule to remind your children when to wear or pack sneakers.

  • Excuse from Participation: If a student needs to be excused from activities, a note from a physician or the school nurse will be required.

  • Hydration: Students are expected to bring their own water bottles to class. Please note that only water is allowed in the gym—no juice, sports drinks, or other beverages.

We look forward to working with your children and encouraging them to stay active, healthy, and engaged. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable physical education experience for all students.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Galske, Mrs. Lopez and Mr. Nelson
