Yesterday, 5th-grade students from Greene Hills, West Bristol, and South Side Schools had the opportunity to visit the State Capitol and Legislative Office Building as part of the Bristol Family Resource Centers Girl Up! -  a leadership program dedicated to helping young girls build confidence, leadership skills, and meaningful friendships. During their time in Hartford, we connected with elected officials and gained a firsthand look at how public servants advocate for positive, lasting change in their communities. We are deeply grateful to our state officials for taking the time to meet with these inspiring young leaders.
